Le MAS des CABRES est un domaine viticole familial où 4 générations de vignerons se succèdent. La présence de la famille remonte au moins à 1724 à Aspères. Le domaine est situé à mi-chemin entre Nîmes et Montpellier, sur les premiers contreforts des Cévennes.
En 2003, changement de cap : Le vignoble et la cave sont transformés pour y élaborer des cuvées originales.
Le nom MAS des CABRES vient d’un lieu-dit où une grande partie du vignoble est implanté, sur lequel, au 18e siècle, on élevait des chèvres. Marnes caillouteuses, argiles rouges et éboulis calcaires forment ce terroir de garrigues.

MAS des CABRES is a wine-producing estate located in languedoc and created from the family property where 4 generations of wine growers have been following one another. The BOUTIN family has been present in Aspères since 1724. The estate is situated between Nimes and Montpellier, near the foothills of the Cevennes mountains.
Florent BOUTIN transformed the vineyard and the winecellar in 2003 in order to create original Languedoc vintages.
"MAS des CABRES" comes from the name of the locality where the vineyard is situated: goats used to be breeded in this area in the 18th century. This country of scrublands is composed of limestone soils and red clays.
